Update – 8/26/19

Last week, the roadway aggregate was fine graded to plan elevations as a final step before asphalt paving.  Asphalt paving could potentially begin the end of this week depending on the weather.  Please be aware that this will require multiple trucks pulling into and out of the work zone.  As always, please use extreme caution when driving through the project limits.

Storm sewer installation continued last week and is anticipated to be complete this week.  Additional storm sewer work will resume later this year during the second phase of construction.

Also completed last week was the hand framing and pouring of concrete curb and gutter gaps.  Additional project locations, namely between East and West Cuba Roads, will be poured after roadway aggregate is placed.

Northbound traffic on Quentin Road will see a new traffic pattern as early as the end of next week.  Traffic at the south project limits will be shifted east, then jogged back west to the current lanes between High Knoll Court and Greenwood Drive and east again at the north project limits.  This is necessary to construct a portion of the future medians.  This will be the first of several small phases of work before all traffic is shifted east so work on the west side of the road can begin.

Please check the Photos tab for more in-depth information regarding the project.
