Update – 9/9/19
Outside of a few small areas, roadway aggregate installation concluded last week for the first phase of work. The aggregate has been fine graded as a final step before asphalt paving begins. Paving is anticipated to begin this week. Please be aware this will require multiple trucks pulling into and out of the work zone.
Concrete curb and gutter was poured at several project locations. The remaining long stretches and gaps on the east side of Quentin Road are anticipated to be finished this week.
Concrete staining for the parapet wall at Buffalo Creek continued last week. Contractors focused on the detail work to replicate stacked stone on the parapet wall at Buffalo Creek.
Work anticipated this week includes topsoil placement, placing aggregate for the future shared use path on the east side of Quentin Road, and underground conduit installation for the traffic signals at East and West Cuba Roads.
New traffic patterns are now anticipated for late the week of September 16. Traffic at the south project limits will be shifted east, then jogged back west to the current lanes between High Knoll Court and Greenwood Drive and east again at the north project limits. This is necessary to construct a portion of the future medians.
Please check the Photos tab for more in-depth information regarding the project.
