Update – 10/07/19

Last week the next stage of construction started as northbound traffic was shifted east into a new lane configuration on Monday.  Removal of the existing pavement in the middle of Quentin Road, which started last Tuesday, will continue over the next couple of weeks.  This will be followed by extending storm sewer pipe crossings, aggregate placement, and asphalt paving.

Contractors also continued installing fencing at the retaining walls and foundations and conduits for future traffic signals.  Work is expected to finish this week on the east side of Quentin Road.

Work anticipated over the next couple of weeks includes paving the shared use path on the east side of Quentin Road and installing permanent landscaping.

The current lane configuration is expected to be in place until the beginning of November.  When paving is completed in the center of Quentin Road, the southbound lanes will be shifted east so the west side of the road can be constructed.  This lane configuration will be in place through the winter.
