Update – 11/16/2020

We are nearing project completion!

Traffic control was removed on Friday and all lanes are now open. Please continue to use caution driving through the project limits as work will continue over the coming weeks, workers will be present, and lanes may temporarily be closed.

The final surface layer of hot mix asphalt was placed throughout the project during the first week of November.

After the surface course of pavement was installed the permanent thermoplastic pavement marking were placed. The surface layer of asphalt was grooved before placing thermoplastic pavement markings. The pavement marking was inset into the groove which reduces potential damage from snow plows and vehicular use.

The permanent traffic signals are scheduled to be “turned on” this week.  This will be followed by the removal of the temporary signals.  Other upcoming work includes installation of recessed reflectors in the pavement lane lines, median markings, and signage.  Work will also continue on various landscaping items and decorative stone at the retaining walls.

Please check the Photos tab for more in-depth information regarding the project.
